CRYOTHERAPY & SAUNA

Our brand new professional cryotherapy bath and sauna are now available, speeding up your recovery, as well as treating long term injuries such as inflammations. We are glad to introduce you our new services, unique in Iten - Home of Champions.

At Home of Champions, thousands of kilometers are run every day by the hundreds of athletes established in the surroundings of the village. Until now, very few recovery facilities were available in Iten. Based on this fact, we developed a brand new spa inclusive of a cryotherapy bath and a sauna available for everyone.

Cryotherapy :

The principle is simple : the bath is cooled down at a temperature of 8 to 10 degrees, and people immerge themselves in it for 8 to 10 minutes. The effect is instant, and all parts of the body benefit of the amazing effect of cold water.

 

Benefits of cold bath are multiples :

  • Speeds up recovery process post workout

  • Reduces inflammations

  • Improves flexibility

  • Muscle and Tissue repair

Sauna:

The effect of warm temperatures combined with ice bath has multiple positive effect on the body.
